Children should not be losing their siblings or parents. Parents should not be losing their children. It happens. Every day. Let´s help the families who have suffered the loss of a loved one together. Become a donor of Plamienok – become a ray that will light up their day.

At Plamienok Counselling Centre, we welcome children and families who have lost a loved one. Through individual and group meetings, we aim to help them in coming to terms with their loss. Twice a year, we organise a therapeutic weekend that offers them the opportunity to get to know each other better, and to learn from each other. Every summer, we organise therapeutic camps for children, which provide them with a lot of new experiences and friends. The very feeling of not being alone in such a situation helps them a lot. Every night is followed by a sunrise. Though there are only a few rays at the beginning, it is worth waiting for the whole Sun to appear. Without your help, we would not be able to help and witness this. Become a regular donor and enjoy, together with us, the most beautiful sunrise. Thank you. More about the project.

“Today, we created a giant!“ that was the first thing a small boy told his parents after the end of the session. We are meeting together in the corridor. His parents have been only a bit further away – in the neighbouring consulting room. Johnny has been in the playing room – a therapeutic room containing different stimulating toys. Viac.
Adolescents (but not only them) usually love music, they have their favourite bands they can identify with; as if the bands were playing and singing exactly what they feel inside. Music can express a large scale of emotions and can influence our mood. Viac.
Imagine asking two teenagers how they are feeling. Both of them will give you a reserved “fine” and turn away from you. They don’t feel like talking about it. Viac.
